Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for BURSTON

BURSTON, an old seat in Hunton parish, Kent; 4¾ miles SW of Maidstone. It was the seat of the Fanes, but is now a farmhouse; and it is notable for commanding a fine view over the Weald.
