BRYNKINALT, a township in Chirk parish, Denbigh; on the river Dee, adjacent to the Shrewsbury and Chester railway, 1 mile NE of Chirk. Brynkinalt House here, the seat of Lord Dungannon, belonged to the Trevors; and was the scene of much of the early life of the mother of the first Duke of Wellington.
