Binend, a lake in Eaglesham parish, SE Renfrewshire, near the Ayrshire boundary, 3½ miles WSW of Eaglesham village. Measuring 5 by 2 furlongs, it contains large pike and perch, and is overhung on the E by Ballagioch Hill, 1084 feet above sea-level.
