Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for BROOM-PARK

BROOM-PARK, the seat of Sir HenryOxenden, Bart., in Barham parish, Kent; 7½ miles SE of Canterbury. The house was built, about 1620, by a member of the Dixwell family; and has marked architectural features. The park contains some fine beeches.
