Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for BRADLEY

BRADLEY, a hamlet in Holt chapelry, Leicester; 2½ miles N W of Rockingham. A small Augustinian priory was founded here, in the time of King John, by Robert de Bundy; and given, at the dissolution, to Thomas Nevell.
