BOVEY BROOK, or Wrey River, a stream of Devon. It rises in Dartmoor forest, 6 miles SW of Moreton-Hampstead; and runs about 18 miles, first north-eastward to the vicinity of Moreton, next south-eastward to the Teign, 4 miles SW of Chudleigh. It traverses much romantic scenery; and is notable for trouting.
