BOLEBROOK, an ancient seat of the Sackvilles, in Hartfield parish, Sussex; 4½ miles E of East Grinstead. It was built of brick, in the 15th century; but is now a small ruin. It passed, for a time, to Lord G. Germaine; and gave him the title of Baron.
