Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for BENGLOG (Falls of)

BENGLOG (Falls of), three cataracts on the stream at the outlet of Llyn Ogwen, Carnarvon; 4½ miles NE of the summit of Snowdon, and 10 SSE of Bangor. Theyoccur in a rocky chasm; have an aggregate descent of about 100 feet; and are overhung by massive mountains.
