BASHALL-EAVES, or Beckshalgh, a township in Mitton parish, W. R. Yorkshire; on the western verge of the county, 2½ miles WNW of Clitheroe. It includes the hamlet of Pagefold; and was a seat of the Talbots and the Lacys. Pop., 259.
