Broomhouse, an estate, with a mansion, in the NW corner of Edrom parish, Berwickshire. The mansion, on the right bank of the Whitadder, 2¼ miles NNE of Dunse, was built, in 1813, on the site of an ancient castle, and is the seat of Geo. J. N. Logan-Home, Esq. (b. 1855; suc. 1870).
