TREFECCA, a hamlet in Talgarth parish, Brecon; 8 miles SW of Hay. Real property, £1,466. Pop., 236. Houses, 45. T. House was the residence of Howel Harris, one of the founders of Calvinistic Methodism;. became the residence also of the chief founder of it, the Countess of Huntingdon,-who made Tredustan Court, in its vicinity, a college for teachers of the connexion. The college fell off, almost to extinction; and an effort was made about 1840, to reinstitute it, at a cost of £10,000.
