SEVENHAMPTON, a chapelry in Highworth parish, Wilts; on the river Cole, 1½ mile S E by S of Highworth, and 2½ N W of Shrivenham r. station. Post-town, High-worth, under Swindon. Pop., 211. Houses, 45. The living is annexed to Highworth. The church was built in 1864, at a cost of about £3, 500; and is in the early English style.
