SCORRIER, a place in the S of Cornwall; on the West Cornwall railway, 2¼ miles N E by N of Redruth. It has a head post-office, ‡ designated Scorrier, Cornwall, and a r. station, designated Scorrier-Gate. S. House is the seat of the Williams family.
