Houses, 38. The manor belonged to the Lucases, passed to the Crofts, and belongs now to the Marquis of Bristol. The Manor-House was visited, in the time of the Crofts, by Charles II.; and was taken down in 1771. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Ely. Value, £370.* Patron, the Marquis of Bristol. The church is ancient but good, and has a Norman round tower. Charities, £13.
