SAUNDERSFOOT, a seaport village in the S E of Pembroke; on Carmarthen bay, adjacent to the Tenby railway, 4½ miles N of Tenby. It had only 3 housesabout 1821; is now a considerable and a pretty place; has a good pier harbour, formed in 1829-32; exportsmuch coal and iron ore; and has a post-office‡ under Tenby, a r. station, and a hotel. The environs are diversified and picturesque.
