Carnousie, an estate, with an ancient mansion, in Forglen parish, Banffshire, on the left bank of the Deveron, 4 miles W of Turriff. Its owner, Jn. Hervey, Esq. (b. 1841; suc. 1867), holds 3424 acres in the shire, valued at £3297 per annum.
