RUSHMORE LODGE, the seat of Lord Rivers on the S border of Wilts; in Cranborne Chase, 6 miles N W of Cranborne. It stands on an estate of nearly 30,000 acres, chiefly within Dorset; and it was the residence of the Princess Charlotte in 1814.
