RUNDLESTONE, a rock in the W side of Mountsbay, Cornwall; ¾ of a mile S of Tol-Pedn-Penwith Point. It rises from deep sea; is indicated by two beacons on the neighbouring headland; was surmounted in 1855 by an iron beacon with mast and ball, all swept away in 1856; and has been the cause of several shipwrecks.
