ROSELAND, a peninsular tract in Cornwall; between Gerrans bay and Falmouth harbour. It contains the parishes of Philleigh, Gerran, St. Just, and St. Anthony; and it took its name from Eglos-Rôs, the old designation of Philleigh parish.
