PORT-ERIN, or Port-Iron, a village in Kirk-Rushen parish, Isle of Man; on a small bay, 1 mile S E of Brada Head, and 4¾ W by N of Castletown. It has a post-office under Douglas, Isle of Man, bathing-machines, a fine sandy beach, and a hotel; and is largely engaged in fishing.
