Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for PONTRILAS

PONTRILAS, a place on the S W border of Herefordshire; on the river Dore, near its influx to the Monnow, and on the Hereford and Abergavenny railway, 11½ miles S W of Hereford. It has a station on the railway, and a post-office under Hereford. Pontrilas Court is the seat of J. Watson, Esq.
