OUZEL (The), a river of Bucks. It rises near living-hoe; receives several streamlets from the N side of the Chiltern hills; runs about 25 miles northward, chiefly within the E border of Bucks, but for 3 miles on the boundary with Beds, past Leighton-Buzzard, and past Fenny-Stratford; is closely accompanied, over most ofits run, by the Grand Junction canal; and falls into the Ouse at Newport-Pagnell. It is noted for fine pike, perch, and bream.
