OTMOOR, or Ottmor, a common of about 4,000 acres on the E border of Oxfordshire; on Akeman-street, adjacent to Bucks and to the river Ray, 6½ miles N E of Oxford. Roman pottery has been found in it around Akeman-street; and a Saxon camp is on it, near Merton.
