ORWELL PARK, a seat in Nacton parish, Suffolk; on the river Orwell, 4 miles S E of Ipswich. It gave the title of Viscount Orwell to the nephew of Admiral Vernon; was the place of Admiral Vernon's death; is now the seat of G. Tomline, Esq.; and contains busts of several distinguished persons, and a rich collection of pictures.
