NEWBRIDGE, or Newbridge-on-Wye, a hamlet on the S W border of Radnor; on the river Wye, and on the Llanidloes, Builth, and Talyllyn railway, 7¼ miles S S E of Rhayader. It has a station on the railway, a post-office under Builth, Breconshire, and a great fair on 17 Oct.
