The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Rochester. Value, £160. Patron, the Duchy of Lancaster. The church is partly a stone building, with a brick chancel; and has, at the W end, a heavyhexagonal abutment, surmounted by a wooden belfry. Two children are entitled to gratuitous education at Maldon grammar school.
