EGLWYS-FAIR-A-CHYRIG, a chapelry in Henllan-Amgoed parish, Carmarthen; at the verge of the county, on the river Taf, 7½ miles N of Whitland r. station, and 9½ NW of St. Clears. Post town, Whitland, under Narberth. Acres, 2, 618. Rated property, £937. Pop., 268. Houses, 56. The property is divided among a few. The living is a p. curacy, annexed to the rectory of Henllan-Amgoed, in the diocese of St. Davids. The church is good.
