WINTERBOURNE-MONKTON, a parish in Marlborough district, Wilts; 6½ miles WNW of Marlborough r. station. Post town, Marlborough. Acres, 1,840. Real property, £2,278. Pop., 214. Houses, 53. The property is not much divided. The living is a vicarage, annexed to Berwick-Bassett. The church is tolerable; and there is a slightly endowed school.
