Broomfield House is the seat of the Crosses. Much of the surface is picturesque; and some points command extensive views. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Bath and Wells. Value, £100.* Patron, J. Hamilton, Esq. The church is good; and the churchyard has a stone cross. Charities, £22.
