HEATHFIELD, a parish in Taunton district, Somerset; on a branch of the river Parret, near Bishops-Lydeard r. station, 5 miles WNW of Taunton. Post town, Bishops-Lydeard, under Taunton. Acres, 692. Real property, £1, 472. Pop., 124. Houses, 27. The property is divided among a few. The manor belongs to FG. Bernard, Esq. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Bath and Wells. Value, £300.* Patron, the Rev. E. B.Spurway. The church consists of nave, aisle, and chancel, with a tower; and is good.
