NORTHOVER, a parish, with a village, in Yeovil district, Somerset: on the river Yeo and the Fosse way, suburban to Ilchester. Post-town, Ilchester, under Taunton. Acres, 436. Rated property, £851. Pop., 122. Houses, 20. The property is divided among a few. The manor belongs to J. L. Burnard, Esq. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Bath and Wells. Value, £123.* Patron, Miss Chichester. The church is old but good; and consists of nave, N aisle, and chancel, with porch and tower.
