The property belongs to Lord Portman; and Orchard-Portman House is Lord P.'s seat. The parish is a meet for the Blackdown hounds. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Bath and Wells. Value, not reported. Patron, Lord Portman. The church is later English, in good condition; and consists of nave and chancel, with porch and tower. Charities, £10.
