LITTON, a township, in Arucliffe parish, W. R. Yorkshire; in Littondale valley, down to the river Wharfe, and 9¼ miles NNE of Settle. Acres, 4,400. Real property, £1,608. Pop., 93. Houses, 20. The manor belongs to the Hon. Mrs. Ramsden.
