RYME-INTRINSICA, a village and a parish in Sherborne district, Dorset. The village stands 1 mile W of Yetminster r. station, and 5½ S W of Sherborne; and was once a market-town. The parish is a liberty, and comprises 1,003 acres. Post-town, Yetminster, under Sherborne. Real property, £1, 857. Pop., 217. Houses, 44. The manor belongs to the duchy of Cornwall. Aroyal hunting-seat was formerly at Court Hill. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Salisbury. Value, £200.* Patron, the Prince of Wales.
