WINTERBOURNE-STEEPLETON, a parish in Dorchester district, Dorset; 4 miles W by S of Dorchester r. station. Post town, Dorchester. Acres, 1,783. Real property, £1,560. Pop., 191. Houses, 35. The property is not much divided. The living is a rectory, annexed to W.-Abbas. The church is tolerable.
