THORNGUMBOLD, a township-chapelry in Paul parish, E. R. Yorkshire; 2 miles SE of Hedon r. station. It has a post-office under Hull. Acres, 1,450. Real property, £3,479. Pop., 292. Houses, 66. The living is annexed to Paul. The church was repaired in 1859. There is an Independent chapel.
