UPSALL, a township in South Kilvington parish, N. R. Yorkshire; 3½ miles NNE of Thirsk. Acres, 1,278. Real property, £1,451. Pop., 104. Houses, 16. Some remains exist of an ancient castle of the Mowbrays.
