OVERTON, a township in Malpas parish, Cheshire; 1½ mile N by W of Malpas. Acres, 708. Real property, £1, 209. Pop., 107. Houses, 20. The manor belongs to S. Gregson, Esq. Overton Hall, an ancient building, formerly moated, is the residence of R. Davies, Esq.
