Petty, vil., NE. Inverness-shire, and par., partly also in Nairnshire, on Moray Firth - par., 9776 ac., pop. 1531; vil., 1½ mile SW. of Dalcross ry. sta. and 5 miles NE. of Inverness; P.O.
