HAMFORDSHOE, a hundred in Northampton; bounded by Orlingbury, Huxloe, Higham Ferrers, Wymersley, and Spelhoe; and containing Great Deddington parish and seven other parishes. Acres, 1, 061. Pop. in 1851, , 381; in 186, 10, 898. Houses, 2, 257.
