In 1882-4, Frances Groome's Ordnance Gazetteer of Scotland described Keithick like this:
Keithick, an estate, with a mansion, in Coupar-Angus parish, Perthshire, 2 miles SW of the town. Its owner, Edward Collins Wood, Esq. (b. 1841; sue. 1877), holds 1787 acres in the shire, valued at £2827 per annum.Ord. Sur., sh. 48, 1868.
