BIRBECK-FELLS, a township in Orton and Crosby-Ravensworth parishes, Westmoreland; on the Birbeck stream, and on the Lancaster and Carlisle railway, 4 miles SSE of Shap. Real property, £1,054. Pop., 200. Most of the surface is wild moor and mountain.
