In 1870-72, John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales described Bradley like this:
BRADLEY, a chapelry in Fladbury parish, Worcester; 5½ miles ESE of Droitwich. Pop., 310. Houses, 62. The living is a rectory. Value, £270. Patron, the Bishop of Worcester. The church was built in 1866.
