Parkgate, eccl. dist. and vil. (ry. sta. Park Gate and Rawmarsh), Rotherham and Rawmarsh pars., S. div. West-Riding Yorkshire - dist., partly within the municipal limits of Rotherham, pop. 6318; vil., 2 miles NE. of Rotherham; P.O., T.O., called Park Gate; has extensive iron and steel works.
