NEWLANDSIDE-WITH-BISHOPLEY, a township in Stanhope parish, Durham; 1 mile S of Stanhope-Acres, with Frosterley, 9, 680. Pop. of N. alone, 559. Houses, 112. Lead ore is mined; and a smelting-house is at Bollihope.
