In 1870-72, John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales described Hazelbury like this:
HAZELBURY, a manor in Box parish, Wilts; 3 miles SW of Corsham. It once was a parish; and it still ranks as a rectory in the diocese of Gloucester and Bristol. Value, £10. Patron, Mr. Northey.
Hazelbury is now part of WILTSHIRE Unitary Authority. Click here for graphs and data of how WILTSHIRE has changed over two centuries. For statistics about Hazelbury itself, go to Statistics.
