In 1870-72, John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales described Bulbridge like this:
BULBRIDGE, a tything in Wilton parish, Wilts; near Wilton. Pop., 58. It formerly was a parish; and it ranks as a rectory, annexed to the rectory of Wilton in the diocese of Salisbury.
