PUDDLESTONE, a parish in Leominster district, Hereford; adjacent to Worcestershire, 4½ miles E of Leominster r. station. It includes the quondam parish of While, and contains the township of Brockmanton. Post-town, Leominster. Acres, 1, 743. Real property, 2, 220. Pop., 349. Houses, 74. The property is much subdivided. The manor, with P. House, belongs to E. Chadwick, Esq. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Hereford. Value, £276.* Patron, E. Chadwick, Esq. The church is good.
