Newmarket, town (ry. sta. Ballycar and Newmarket), Clonfert par., N. co. Cork, on river Dalua, 8 miles NW. of Kanturk ry. sta., pop. 885; P.O., T.O., 1 Bank; adjacent is Newmarket House, the seat of the Aldworth family since James I.
