SLowndes, Esq. A very fine herd of Alderney cows is here; and butter is sent often hence to the Royal family. The parish was a meet for the Rothschild hounds. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Oxford. Value, £150.* Patron, the Church Patronage Society. The church is ancient, and has a tower. Charities, £6.
